A Christian Science practitioner is one who is called upon for healing. Specific prayer (called a treatment) is given to address the particular problem. These prayers unveil the Christ, and reveal the patient's true sense of being as the perfect child of God. The healing takes place in one's consciousness, and is therefore manifested in the human condition.
